Your 27 Candles.

It's the 9th of February. By right, today is my eldest sister's birthday. Yes, my beloved eldest sister who passed away last year. Right now, we could have bought wonderful yet meaningful gifts for her and together, we'll blow her 27 candles. The family will sing her a bday song and cut cakes for her. It's what we look forward to annually. Celebrations can bring the whole family together and we can have a very good time. Now, it feels empty. Empty because her loudest laughter used to fill these empty spaces in the house. Whenever she comes to visit us, she can be such a nuisance and nonsensical woman. But, she's just the bestest sister ever! Like no one can ever take her place. I mean..if you can ever understand how i feel. Or maybe i have not yet gotten over her death. Sigh. There are times when i think i really need her.
